Dammam Airport privatization underway, says Al-Sugair

Saudi Arabia has started the privatization process of Dammam Airport, Faisal Al-Sugair, chairman of the Saudi Civil Aviation Holding Co., told Al-Arabiya TV on Sunday.

 

All contracts and employees were transferred from the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to Dammam Airports Co. (DACO).

 

Al-Sugair added that DACO has been launched as a financially independent entity, in line with the Kingdom’s program to privatize airports and strategic units.
