IndependentPersian.com Is Launched and Camelia Entekhabifard Is the Editor-in-Chief

Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SRMG) announced the soft launch of www.independentpersian.com. The website comes as the fourth phase of SRMG’s project to launch The Independent in Arabic, Turkish, Urdu and Persian under a licensing agreement that was signed and announced last year with the British publisher of The Independent. SRMG also announced appointing Camelia Entekhabifard, the well-known journalist and political analyst as the Editor-in-Chief of the Independent Persian. A group of famous and well experienced journalists have already joined the project and working in its offices in New York city.

Ms. Entekhabifard enjoys a very extensive and rich experience as a journalist, political analyst and researcher. Ms. Entekhabifard is very well versed with the Arab And Iranian current affairs.

On this occasion, Abdulrahman Alrowaita, Chairman of SRMG, said: “The launch of Independentpersian.com stands as the fourth and the last phase of our multi-lingual project with The Independent. We are so eager to have the new website able to attract a wider readership of Persian language to read a diversified content of very high professional standards.
