The company attributed the lower profit to a Zakat provision reversal of SAR 7 million.
On the other hand, revenue rose slightly by 0.2% year-on-year (YoY), mainly driven by a 3.7% rise year-on-year (YoY) in total orders, aided by a 2.7% increase in the average order value.
The group’s average commission rate improved from 14.6% in the first nine months of 2024 to 15.5% in the same period of 2025, supported by successful negotiations with key partners, which enhanced the value per transaction.
Advertising revenue grew by 31.9% YoY, reaching SAR 74.4 million, driven by new initiatives such as “Explore” and “Fawasel” features on the app to improve visibility and user experience, as well as enhanced geo-targeting algorithms to increase ad exposure opportunities.
Additionally, other revenues generated through the group’s new subsidiaries — Sol, Co, and Marn — along with direct sales through the “Blu” platform, recorded strong growth of 48.1% during the first nine months of 2025.
In Q3, Jahez posted a 21.9% drop in net earnings to SAR 62.6 million, from SAR 80.2 million in the third quarter of 2024, hurt by increased local market competition.
Conversely, net earnings nearly tripled quarter-on-quarter (QoQ) from SAR 23.6 million, thanks to a rise in revenue due to seasonal changes in consumption patterns.
Jahez also recorded a significant increase in the unit of economics (UOE) from SAR 1.8 per order to SAR 3.4 per order on adjusted EBITDA level.
