The drop was due to a 1% year-on-year (YoY) decline in revenue to SAR 7.35 million, driven by a slowdown in the real estate development segment as several major projects neared completion, leading to lower revenue recognition.
Financing costs also surged 81% YoY to SAR 18.81 million.
By contrast, revenue from the construction and building materials segments rose compared to the same period last year.
Gross profit margin stood at 20% in H1 2025, compared with 21% a year earlier. General and administrative expenses fell 19% YoY, or SAR 16.4 million, while operating income rose 13% YoY, or SAR 7.05 million.
