United International Holding Co. (Tasheel), 70% owned by eXtra, reported a 19% increase in profits, reaching SAR 117.6 million by the end of H1 2025, compared to SAR 99.2 million in H1 2024.

The profit rise during the period was attributed to a 30% year-on-year (YoY) growth in the company’s financing portfolio, which led to a 26.9% YoY increase in revenue. This revenue growth was reflected in the gross profit (net income from Shariah-compliant financing contracts), which recorded a 27.9% hike.

 

On the other hand, operating expenses (OpEx) and provisions for expected credit losses (ECL) increased.
