Revenue decreased 14% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 67.87 million in H1 2025 and sales volume dipped 5% YoY, mainly due to lower average selling prices. In addition, the company noted a general slowdown in the poultry business, which in turn affected the feed market.
The retreat was primarily driven by reduced demand for feed from poultry farms due to lower stocking rates and challenges in the poultry market, which resulted in intense price competition.
NAF started to expand further into the livestock and sheep business alongside poultry as part of its strategy to diversify sales channels.
Profitability was also impacted by a SAR 1 million of non-recurring expense related to part of the costs of the initial public offering (IPO) and listing on the Nomu-Parallel Market. The company paid these costs on behalf of the selling shareholders, who will fully reimburse the company. This reimbursement will be directly recognized under shareholders’ equity during the financial period ending Dec. 31, 2025.
Shareholders’ equity (with no minority interest) stood at SAR 23.92 million by the end of June 2025, compared to SAR 22.87 million in the year-ago period.
