Arabian Internet and Communication Services Co. (solutions) posted a net profit of SAR 807 million in H1 2025, marginally higher from SAR 806 million a year earlier.

During the current period, revenue increased by 2.6% year-on-year (YoY), mainly due to a rise in the managed IT and operational services by 13.7%, despite a decrease in each of core ICT services by 2.9% and digital services by 1.5%.

 

Operating expenses fell by SAR 91 million, as a result of a decrease in selling and distribution expenses by SAR 101 million. This was despite an increase in general and administrative expenses by SAR 10 million.

 

On the other hand, the cost of revenues increased by SAR 188 million, and the net other income fell by SAR 13 million. Zakat and tax charges increased by SAR 32 million.

 

During the same period of last year, net profit included a Zakat provision reversal of SAR 31 million, and a one-off non-operating income of SAR 68 million.

The company reported a net profit of SAR 446 million in Q2 2025, a 1.5% decline from SAR 452.7 million in Q2 2024.

 

On a sequential basis, Q2 2025 net earnings rose 23.7% from SAR 360.67 million.

 

Total shareholders’ equity, excluding minority interest, grew to SAR 3.59 billion by the end of June 30, 2025, compared with SAR 3.24 billion a year earlier.
