Meanwhile, net profit (before minority interest) amounted to SAR 7.1 million, compared to SAR 9.3 million in Q1 2024.
The improvement was attributed to a decrease in selling and distribution expenses, a drop in general and administrative expenses, an increase in the group’s share of profits from investments in companies using the equity method, and an increase in other income, coupled with a decrease in losses for the period from discontinued operations.
On a quarterly basis, TADCO narrowed its losses by 93% from SAR 100.38 million in Q4 2024.
Total shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, fell to SAR 172.42 million as of March 31, 2025, from SAR 314.87 million a year earlier.
Accumulated losses amounted to SAR 214.51 million, or 54.8% of the company’s capital, in Q1 2025.
