Sulaiman Al Habib H1 2021 profit up 47% to SAR 644 mln

Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group reported a net profit after Zakat and tax of SAR 644 million for the first half of 2021, a 47% increase, compared to SAR 438.9 million in the same period a year ago.

 

The company attributed the profit rise to 35.3% increase in revenues, driven by the growth in the hospital segment, due to rise in number of patients.

 

The company also cited 35.97% increase in EBITDA and 46.84% rise in net income for the profit growth.

The company’s Q2 net profit after Zakat and tax increased by 69% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 325 million due to 45.57% rise in revenues, higher net income by 69.26%, and 47.58% rise in EBITDA.

 

On a quarterly basis, Q2 net profit increased 2% due to higher revenue, which was not impacted by the seasonality factors.
