The profit decline was due to higher marketing and sales expenses, as well as lower dividend and Murabaha income.
The company also cited lower other income, higher other expenses, and losses on disposal of property, plant, and equipment, as well as an increase in Zakat expenses.
However, the cement producer recorded an increase in cement sales volume and value as well as higher precast sales value.

In Q2 2025, net earnings increased 14.4% to SAR 63.4 million, compared with SAR 55.4 million a year earlier, propelled by a rise in cement sales volume and value as well as higher precast sales value.
On a sequential basis, the second-quarter net earnings were up 2% from SAR 62.08 million in Q1 2025.
Total shareholders’ equity, no minority interest, fell to SAR 2.30 billion as of June 30, 2025, from SAR 2.44 billion a year earlier.
