US rig count hits 6-month low: Baker Hughes

The US drilling rig count fell three units to 496 in the week ended May 10, Baker Hughes energy services firm said in its closely followed report on Friday.

 

This is the lowest rig count since Nov. 10, 2023, when it reached 494.

 

Meanwhile, the gas rig count rose one unit to 103 in the week, the first increase since March 15.
