US oil rig count rises for fourth straight week: Baker Hughes

The number of US oil rigs rose during the week ending September 19, according to Baker Hughes data on Friday, signaling a potential rebound in US crude production in the future.

 

The rigs increased by two units to 418 last week, marking the fourth consecutive weekly gain.

 

Meanwhile, the number of natural gas rigs was unchanged at 118 for the second week in a row.
