Saudi Arabia records 4,207 new COVID-19 cases on Monday

The total number of coronavirus cases in Saudi Arabia increased by 4,207 to 213,716 as of Monday, July 6, the Ministry of Health announced today.

 

Recoveries reached 4,398, bringing the total number of recovered cases to 149,634, representing 70% of total registered cases.

 

Fifty-two new death cases were reported, while the death toll hit 1,968.

 

The total active cases currently receiving treatment amounted to 61,114 cases, of which 2,254 are critical.

 

In addition, a total of 437 cases were reported in Qatif, followed by Khamis Mushait (364), Riyadh (330), Dammam (293), Taif (279), Al Hufof (242), and Jeddah (209).

 

A total of 50,564 tests were conducted today, bringing the total number of tests to 1.87 million.
