Emaar the Economic City are set to elect board members for the upcoming three-year term, starting Sept. 26, 2020, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) that will be held on Sept. 22, 2020.

Shareholders will also vote on amending implementation rules of the audit committee, the company said in a bourse statement.

The company will adopt electronic voting as of Sept. 18, 2020 on the agenda items of OGM.

The step follows the Capital Market Authority’s (CMA) directives enabling shareholders to participate and vote on related meeting agenda through Tadawulaty system in line with the government’s efforts to prevent spread of coronavirus.
