Saudi Arabia records 1,068 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,068 new COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 26 bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 310,836, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 1,013, raising the total number of recovered cases to 284,945 (92% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 33 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 3,755.

 

Active cases totaled 22,136, of which 1,601 cases are critical.

 

Jazan reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 84 each, followed by Makkah (67), Madinah (57), Riyadh (55), and Tabuk (48).

 

The Kingdom conducted 58,467 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 4.85 million.
