Saudi Arabia records 791 new COVID-19 cases on Saturday

Saudi Arabia recorded 791 new COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 5, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 319,932, the Ministry of Health said.

 

Recoveries reached 779, raising the total number of recovered cases to 295,842 (92% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 34 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 4,049. 

 

Active cases totaled 20,041, of which 1,470 cases are critical. 

 

Jeddah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 65, followed by Madinah (64), Dammam (46), Al Houfouf (44), and Riyadh (38).
