Saudi Arabia records 472 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 472 new COVID-19 cases today, Oct. 15, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 341,062, the Ministry of Health said.

 

A total of 507 recoveries were recorded, raising the total number of recovered cases to 327,327 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported new 19 deaths, with the death toll now standing at 5,127.

 

Active cases totaled 8,608, of which 829 cases are critical.

 

Madinah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 83, followed by Yanbu (56), Makkah (38), Hail (31), and Riyadh and Al Hofuf (25) each.

 

The Kingdom conducted 52,966 new tests, bringing up the total number of tests to 7.21 million.
