Saudi Arabia to reveal registration system for receiving COVID-19 vaccine soon: Health Ministry

A registration system for receiving the COVID-19 vaccine will be announced soon, said Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, the official spokesman for the Ministry of Health.

 

Al-Abd Al-Aali said in a press conference today, Dec. 6, that the Ministry is keen to ensure the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine and get approval for it from the competent committees and authorities.

 

The Kingdom has been able to make very important contracts with companies developing the COVID-19 vaccine, and will be one of the first countries to receive the vaccine, he affirmed.

 

The Kingdom has become among the countries that record an improvement and a decline in the COVID-19 infections, the top official concluded.
