Saudi Arabia records 104 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 104 COVID-19 cases today, Jan. 5, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 363,259, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 146, raising the total number of recovered cases to 354,755 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 2,239, of which 364 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported nine new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,265.

 

A total of 39,433 new laboratory tests were performed, bringing the total number of tests conducted in the Kingdom to 11.17 million.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 47, followed by Makkah (24), Eastern Province (13), and Madinah (4).
