Saudi health ministry says COVID-19 vaccine supply resumes

Saudi Arabia resumed the import of COVID-19 vaccines, which will help continue with the national plan for administering the vaccine doses to citizens and residents across the Kingdom, according to Ministry of Health spokesman Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aly.

 

Speaking during the daily briefing on COVID updates today, Feb. 14, Al-Abd Al-Aly invited those who wish to be given the second dose of the vaccine to set an appointment for administering it. He noted that a total of 446,940 doses had been administered since the inoculation process began to date.

 

The Ministry of Health announced, on Jan. 20, the rescheduling of the dates for administering the first doses of Pfizer vaccine due to a delay from the side of the manufacturer in supplying the shipments to the Kingdom and other countries, according to Argaam's data.
