Saudi Ministry of Health launches second phase of COVID-19 vaccination

The Ministry of Health announced today, Feb. 18, the launch of the second phase of COVID-19 vaccination across Saudi Arabia.

 

The ministry said on its official Twitter account that those wishing to take the vaccine will be able to know the location of vaccination centers and take an appointment through the "Sehaty" app, according to the target groups.

 

A total of 462,810 doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom since the start of the vaccination campaign.

 

Mohammed Al-Abd Al-Aly, spokesman for Ministry of Health, recently announced that the second phase will begin with the expansion of the priorities of administering the first dose, adding more regions across the Kingdom, and increasing daily appointments, Argaam reported.
