stc extends deadline for board membership nominations to March 30

Saudi Telecom Co. (stc) extended the deadline for the nomination process for board of directors’ membership for the upcoming three-year session to March 30, 2021, from March 16, as previously announced, the company said in a bourse filing.

 

The board of directors' new three-year term is set to start on April 28, 2021.

 

The nomination will be in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Law issued by the Ministry of Commerce and the Corporate Governance Regulations issued by the Capital Market Authority (CMA), in addition to the Articles of Association, standards and procedures for membership in the board of directors approved by the general assembly of the shareholders.

 

The nominated members will be elected during the next general assembly, the date for which will be announced later, after obtaining necessary approvals from the competent authorities.
