Naseej appoints Yasir Osama Al-Sebaei as CEO

Naseej International Trading Co.’s board of directors accepted the resignation of chief executive officer (CEO) Marc Henri Verleyen, following the end of his contract today, April 1, 2021, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Verleyen has been appointed as a member of the executive committee of the board, until the end of the current session.

 

The board also appointed Yasir Osama Al-Sebaei as CEO, starting April 1, 2021.

 

Al-Sebaei holds a bachelor of science in chemical engineering (petrochemicals major) from King Abdulaziz University, and an MBA specializing in innovations for the future from Brunel University London.

 

Al-Sebaei worked in many leadership positions, including as executive vice president for projects affairs at Savola Foods Co., executive general manager for projects at Sugar Refinery, and deputy general manager for quality at United Sugar Co.

 

He also held membership in boards of directors, various committees and associations, and holds courses in management science and the art of leadership, industrial operation and project strategies.
