Saudi Arabia records 929 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 929 COVID-19 cases today, April 14, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 401,157, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 806, raising the total number of recovered cases to 385,441 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 8,935, of which 986 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported eight new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,781.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 443, followed by Makkah (172), Eastern Province (130), Madinah (30), and Asir (26).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 53,931 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 15.97 million.

 

More than 6.56 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
