Saudi Arabia records 985 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 985 COVID-19 cases today, April 15, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 402,142 , the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 661, raising the total number of recovered cases to 386,102 (97% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported ten new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,791.

 

Active cases totaled 9,249, of which 999 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 463, followed by Makkah (164), Eastern Province (140), Al-Qassim (37) and Asir (34).

 

The Kingdom conducted 45,843 new tests, bringing up the total number to 16.02 million.  

 

More than 6.61 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
