Saudi Arabia records 916 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 916 COVID-19 cases today, April 18, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 404,970, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 907, raising the total number of recovered cases to 388,702 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,823.

 

Active cases totaled 9,445, of which 1,044 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 402, followed by Makkah (203), Eastern Province (131), along with Asir and Madinah (31) each.

 

The Kingdom conducted 51,225 new tests, bringing up the total number to 16.17 million.

 

More than 7.07 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
