HRSD ministry says 1,120 facilities benefited from expat secondment service since January 2021

The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) said that 1,120 facilities benefited from expatriate secondment service since the beginning of 2021.

 

The number of people benefited from the service stands at 224 employees, the ministry was quoted by Al Eqtisadiah Newspaper.

 

The ministry made the secondment service available to private sector establishments since March 2020 through Ajeer Program without any conditions regarding the type of business activity.

 

The step came as part of the initiatives to address the COVID-19 pandemic in order to provide staff to sectors with high demand for labor.
