Saudi Arabia records 1,045 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,045 COVID-19 cases today, April 27, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 414,219, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 983, raising the total number of recovered cases to 397,587 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,710, of which 1,277 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported nine new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,922.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 419, followed by Makkah (221), Eastern Province (155), Asir (50) and Madinah (37).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 64,782 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 16.71 million.

 

Almost 8.58 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
