Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman

Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said Saudi Arabia aims to grow the Public Investment Fund’s (PIF) assets to SAR 10 trillion by 2030, adding that an official announcement will be made in this regard.

The PIF currently contributes zero revenue to the state. The Kingdom aims to create a huge fund that will be a contributor to revenue beyond 2030.

Before Vision 2030, the PIF was spending only SAR 3 billion inside the Kingdom. However, it invested SAR 90 billion in 2020 and will invest SAR 160 billion this year.

The PIF projects outside the Kingdom target an over 10% return, Crown Prince added.
