Arabian Pipes elects board members for new term; rejects audit committee formation

Arabian Pipes Co.’s shareholders approved electing members of the board of directors for the upcoming three-year term starting May 22, 2021, during the ordinary general assembly meeting (OGM) held on April 27.

 

The elected members are Musa Abdullah Al-Ruwaili, Youssef bin Saleh Aba Al-Khail, Saad bin Falah Al-Qahtani, Khalid bin Abdullah Abunayyan, Ahmed bin Ali Al-Luhaidan, Azzam bin Saud Al-Mudaihim, Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Harbi, and Faisal bin Muhammad Al-Harbi.

 

Meanwhile, shareholders refused to approve the formation of the audit committee and defining their duties, operations, and remunerations of the members for the same term.

 

The candidates included Saad Falah Al-Qahtani (independent), Azzam Saud Al-Mudheim (non-executive), and Haitham Bin Tawfiq Al-Foraih and Saleh al-Fadl from outside the board of directors.
