Saudi Arabia records 953 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 953 COVID-19 cases today, May 3, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 420,301, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,038, raising the total number of recovered cases to 403,702 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,607, of which 1,359 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 6,992.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 386, followed by Makkah (244), Eastern Province (117), Madinah (45) and Asir (40).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 65,317 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 17.1 million.

 

Almost 9.74 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
