Saudi Arabia records 986 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 986 COVID-19 cases today, May 10, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 427,370, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,076, raising the total number of recovered cases to 410,816 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,469, of which 1,341 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,085.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 339, followed by Makkah (283), Eastern Province (131), Asir (52) and Madinah (50).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 70,822 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 17.60 million.

 

Almost 10.64 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
