Saudi Arabia records 999 COVID-19 cases on Tuesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 999 COVID-19 cases today, May 11, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 428,369, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,286, raising the total number of recovered cases to 412,102 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 9,169, of which 1,358 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,098.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 352, followed by Makkah (260), Eastern Province (120), Madinah (54), and Asir (50).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 71,800 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 17.67 million.

 

Almost 10.89 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
