Saudi Arabia records 1,261 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,261 COVID-19 cases today, June 3, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 454,217, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,364, raising the total number of recovered cases to 436,884 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,408.

 

Active cases totaled 9,925, of which 1,516 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 402, followed by Riyadh (292), Eastern Province (166), Madinah (120) and Asir (72).

 

The Kingdom conducted 96,230 new tests, bringing up the total number to 19.50 million.

 

More than 14.56 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
