Saudi health ministry says COVID-19 second dose in line with availability, coverage progress

Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health said that the second dose of COVID-19 vaccine will be in accordance with the progress in coverage, priority categories and the availability of supply.

 

In a statement revealing the latest developments in fighting the pandemic, the ministry said that it continues to vaccinate people in the age group of 60 years and more with the second dose.

 

The ministry announced a new statistic for COVID-19 cases in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours, which included the registration of 1,153 confirmed cases and recovery of 1,100 cases, while the number of cases reached more than 11,000.
