Saudi Arabia records 1,255 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,255 COVID-19 cases today, June 18, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 479,390, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,247, raising the total number of recovered cases to 460,338 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 14 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,730.

 

Active cases totaled 11,322, of which 1,451 cases are critical.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 340, followed by Eastern Province (282), Riyadh (203), Asir (156) and Jazan (81).

 

The Kingdom conducted 91,020 new tests, bringing up the total number to 21.31 million.

 

More than 16.96 million doses have been administered to people in the Kingdom to date.
