Saudi Arabia records 1,218 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,218 COVID-19 cases today, June 27, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 483,221, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,252, raising the total number of recovered cases to 464,256 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 11,190, of which 1,440 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,775.

 

Makkah reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 369, followed by Riyadh (255), Eastern Province (206), Asir (140), Jazan (67), and Madinah (54).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 95,400 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 21.60 million.

 

Almost 17.26 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
