27/06/2021 Argaam

Anaam International Holding Group said it was notified today, June 27, by the company’s Zakat advisor-in-charge with regards to the issuance of the decision of the Committee for the Resolution of Tax Violations and Disputes on June 23, 2021, accepting and rejecting some of its objections, with the possibility of requesting an appeal within 30 days, according to a bourse filing.

The company will appeal the decision concerning the items not approved by the committee at the specified time. It further expected the issuance of this decision and the possibility of accepting objections, or some of them, as a positive result of the total assessment specified by the company.

In February, 2018, Anaam was asked by the General Authority for Zakat and Income (GAZT) to pay SAR 106.9 million in Zakat arrears and differentials for 1995-2011 and withholding tax of SAR 138,937 for 2007 and 2010.

The financial impact of this procedure will be announced later.
