Saudi Arabia records 1,486 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,486 COVID-19 cases today, June 30, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 487,592, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,055, raising the total number of recovered cases to 467,633 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 12,140, of which 1,406 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 15 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,819.

 

Eastern Province reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 360, followed by Makkah (317), Riyadh (261), Asir (196), Jazan (91), and Madinah (67).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 104,570 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 21.90 million.

 

Almost 17.76 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
