Saudi Arabia records 1,173 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,173 COVID-19 cases today, July 4, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 492,785, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,389, raising the total number of recovered cases to 472,939 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

 

Active cases totaled 11,970, of which 1,348 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 13 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,876.

 

Eastern Province reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 273, followed by Riyadh (227), Makkah (222), Al Qassim (115), and Madinah (90).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 85,540 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 22.29 million.

 

Almost 18.36 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
