8 things to watch on Tadawul today

Here are a few things you need to know as Saudi stocks start trading on Tuesday.

 

1) Theeb Rent a Car Co. signed a long-term rental contract with Jahez International Company for Information Systems Technology (Jahez), valued at SAR 48.72 million.

 

2) The Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) announced that the trading of new units of Alkhabeer REIT Fund will start today, July 6.

 

3) Al Moammar Information Systems Co. (MIS) joined the initiative of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) in the development of large data centers and to lead the growth in digital transformation.

 

4) Gulf General Cooperative Insurance Co. subscription to new shares and rights trading began on July 5, to increase capital from SAR 200 million to SAR 500 million.

 

5) Kingdom Holding Co.’s board of directors reappointed Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal as Chairman and appointed Lama Abdulaziz AlSulaiman as Vice Chairperson.

 

6) NNational Agricultural Marketing Co.’s (Thimar) shareholders elected board members for four vacant seats, for the current three-year term ending May 13, 2023.

 

7) Sahara International Petrochemical Co.’s (Sipchem) board of directors approved the request of Hassana Investment Co., the investment arm of General Authority of Social Insurance (GOSI), to replace its representative.

 

8) Brent crude on Tuesday gained 30 cents to reach $77.46 per barrel. WTI crude also increased $1.52 to reach $76.68/bbl.
