Saudi Arabia records 1,244 COVID-19 cases on Monday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,244 COVID-19 cases today, July 12, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 502,439, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,523, raising the total number of recovered cases to 483,937 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 10,510, of which 1,434 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported 16 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 7,992.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 344, followed by Eastern Province (254), Makkah (200), Asir (125), and Madinah (71).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 96,620 new tests, bringing the total number of laboratory tests to 23 million.

 

Almost 19.97 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine have been administered in the Kingdom to date.
