Saudi Arabia records 1,055 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 1,055 COVID-19 cases today, July 18, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 509,576, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 1,143, raising the total number of recovered cases to 490,696 (96% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported 12 new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,075.

 

Active cases totaled 10,805, of which 1,420 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 323, followed by Makkah (187), and Eastern Province (240) each, Asir (143) and Madinah (86).

 

The Kingdom conducted 93,000 new tests, bringing up the total number to 22.4 million.
