HRSD ministry says 631,500 nationals obtained freelance documents since program launch

Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (HRSD) announced that 631,500 citizens have obtained freelance documents, since the start of the self-employment program across the Kingdom, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported, citing a ministry statement.

 

A total of 292,300 nationals have registered in 2021, while 282,800 citizens were registered in 2020.

 

The ministry is working on adding new work categories to the field this year, including tour guides, media professionals, and healthcare workers.

 

The ministry also announced that a support program will be lunched soon in cooperation with Saudi Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) and Ministry of Communications and Information Technology.
