Saudi Arabia records 208 COVID-19 cases on Sunday

Saudi Arabia recorded 208 COVID-19 cases today, Aug. 29, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 544,004, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 393, raising the total number of recovered cases to 532,126 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

Active cases totaled 3,346, of which 952 cases are critical.

 

The Kingdom reported six new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,532.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 69, followed by Makkah (36), then Eastern Province (22), Al Qassim (15), Jazan and Asir (14 each), and Madinah (13).

 

Saudi Arabia concluded 50,400 new tests over the last 24 hours, and the total number of administered doses increased to 36.19 million.
