Saudi Arabia recorded 138 COVID-19 cases today, Sept. 7, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 545,505, the Ministry of Health stated.

 

Recoveries reached 172, raising the total number of recovered cases to 534,451 (98% of total COVID-19 cases).

 

The Kingdom reported six new deaths, with the death toll standing at 8,591.

 

Active cases totaled 2,463, of which 636 cases are critical.

 

Riyadh reported the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 45, followed by Makkah (20), Eastern Province (12), Madinah (11) and Jazan (10).

 

The Kingdom conducted 52,500 new tests in the last 24 hours, while the total number of administered COVID-19 doses rose to 38.36 million.
