Arriyadh Development appoints Jihad Al-Qadi as CEO from December

Arriyadh Development Co. (ARDCO) appointed Jihad bin Abdul Rahman Al-Qadi as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), as of Dec. 1, 2021, the firm said in a statement to Tadawul.

 

Al-Qadi holds more than 18 years’ experience in the financial and investment sector, and held leadership positions for a number of financial and investment institutions. He also has experience in the real estate investment sector.

 

He started his career at Saudi National Bank (formerly: National Commercial Bank) and was part of the founding team of SNB Capital (formerly: NCB Capital). His experience also includes working in the treasury sector at SNB, Jadwa Investment Co. and SEDCO Capital. 

 

Since 2017, he has joined the Public Investment Fund (PIF). He held the position of Director of Real Estate Asset Management and Director of Institutional Development in the Department of Local Real Estate Investments at PIF. 

 

Al-Qadi is also a member of a number of boards of directors, including Dur Hospitality Co., Asma Capital Co., Islamic Development Bank Fund for Infrastructure, Saudi Egyptian Investment Co., and Saudi Economic Association. 

 

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from King Saud University in Riyadh, and a Master’s degree in Executive Management from Hult International Business School in Boston. He is a candidate for an Executive Diploma for Board Membership from IMD Business School. Al-Qadi also completed a number of courses from several prestigious universities such as Harvard Business School, London Business School, and IE University in Madrid. 

 

Al-Qadi’s appointment coincides with the company’s transformation plan, in order for it to achieve the aspirations of its shareholders and benefit from the economic transformation opportunities resulting from the plans and programs of Vision 2030, the statement said. 

 

According to data available with Argaam, in April, ARDCO transferred all management powers to its newly-appointed managing director, Abdullah Al-Bahouth.
