Al Sheikh says education ministry studying regulations on foreign investments to boost competition

The Ministry of Education is currently studying, with other authorities, the regulations required for allowing foreign investors to access local education sector, Al Sharq TV reported, citing Minister Hamad Al Sheikh.

 

“The step aims to boost market competitiveness,” he said, adding that these regulations will include higher education, international universities, public schools, and training institutions.

 

The ministry will make the announcement soon, Al Sheikh said, noting that access to university education will be available for all, regardless of age.
