Saudi food exports rise 9% to SAR 7.4 bln in H1 2021: Official

Saudi food exports increased by 9% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 7.4 billion in H1 2021, Saudi Press Agency reported, citing Faisal AlBedah, Secretary General of Saudi Export Development Authority (SEDA).

 

The Made in Saudi program participated in Anuga 2021, the leading global trade fair for the food and beverage industry, being held in Cologne, Germany, from Oct. 9-13, with the attendance of 21 Saudi companies.

 

The program was launched by SEDA to support Saudi products and direct purchasing power toward local products and services, leading to the private sector’s contribution to the gross domestic product
