Saline Water Conversion Corp. (SWCC) has launched a new product for public and private sectors, in line with its active role in the Kingdom’s economic development and its leading position as the world's largest producer of desalinated water, Al Eqtisadiah newspaper reported.

SWCC launched a number of top-notch water desalination services to fulfill the stronger demand, in the light of the Kingdom’s population growth and urban sprawl, in a way that will sustain the water supply.

The new Saudi product features water desalination mobile production systems, with a daily production capacity of 2,000-10,000 cubic meters (m3).

It will be using the eco-friendly reverse osmosis water technology, hitting the world’s lowest energy consumption level of 2.27 kilowatt-hour/cubic meter (kW.h/m3). The new technology was implemented, in line with the latest global supply chain criteria and OPEX optimization.
